Now in the fourth generation, the group has hotels, restaurants, clubs and venues all over the world.

The new venture in Punta del Este aims to be remarkable in the local postcard, rescuing a glamorous past allied to the avant-garde architecture. The project consists of the reconstruction of the iconic Hotel San Rafael, which was a high society in the 1950s.

There will be 70 hotel rooms and 75 private apartments, as well as a casino, with interior design signed by Florentine architect Michele Bonan, also responsible for others group spaces. Luxurious materials, impeccable finishes and a certain air of glamor from other times define the interiors.

The famous local architect Rafael Viñoli was chosen to design the building that will be built around the iconic hotel. This part will follow a more high tech style with contemporary interiors and will feature spa services, hairdresser, sports sector with personal trainers, 24 hour room service, signed gardens, exclusive shops, personal shoppers , international daily delivery , butler services, plus of the iconic Cipriani restaurants.

The Italian group is building a state-of-the-art hotel complex around an iconic 1950’s hotel Punta del Este, Uruguay. The grandson of Giuseppe Cipriani and a Bellini (drink created by his grandfather) welcome guests to the launch of the Ocean Resort & Club Residences at their local residence. The menu had classic Cipriani dishes. The luxury hotel group began in 1931, when the forerunner created the Harry’s Bar in Venice, now considered a National Monument by the Italian Ministry of Culture.
